B. Sergeev, I. Frolov, A. Andreev The recently unveiled monument to Alexander Volodin (1919-2001) has been erected across the street from 44 Bolshaya Pushkarskaya, the apartment building he lived in.
Volodin is best known for his popular stage and screen plays including Osenny marafon (Autumn Marathon), Starshaya sestra (The Big Sister), Pyat vecherov (Five Evenings), and other works.
