Street art museum

Museum is situated a bit further from the historical center but worth a visit. It is a unique creative space.

Museum was created in 2011 after graffiti party was held in one of abandoned departments of laminated plastics’ plant.

In the permanent exposition you can find works of contemporary street artists and a collection of graffiti. In the public zone street art exhibitions and large-scale projects connected to street art are organized.

Together with Russian State Museum, SPbGU and youth center of Hermitage Street Art museum holds lectures about street art starring international urbanism researchers. In 2017 new zone “Porokh” by engineering theater “AXE” was opened here.
