The two-story art space with a bar is named after the American writer, author of the novel “Flying Over the Cuckoo's Nest,” which was opened in 2019 by Maria Solovskaya and Philip Pankratov, owners of the Waka Waka food truck.

During the day, the institution worked like a cafe, and in the evenings it was transformed into a club with electronic musicians, lectures, literary readings and theater performances.

During quarantine, space moved to a new format: take-out is prepared here, including on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. you can be fed for free. Just go and say that there is no money. There is also a vegetarian menu.

On the second floor of KenKesey.Space, a recording studio was created under the guidance of the famous Russian electronic engineer Vlad Radostavin C-P-C. From here regularly broadcast live concerts with the participation of St. Petersburg electronic, vocal and acoustic projects. Streams unite lovers of avant-garde music, multi-genre performances and creative experiments.

You can see and hear these streams on the youtube channel of KenKesey.Space.
