Schroder House

The cultural center is located in the old mansion of Karl Schroeder, the owner of the St. Petersburg piano factory. The Schroeder factory was considered the second most important in St. Petersburg, after the firm "Ya. Becker ", and had the title" Supplier of the court of his Imperial Majesty ".

The Schroeder mansion was built in 1888-1889 by architect V.V. Shauba in the style of neo-renaissance. The architectural appearance and interiors of the mansion have survived to the present day.

Today there is a cultural centerin the mansion of Schroeder. Creative studios for children and adults work here, exhibitions of contemporary art, music and poetry evenings, performances and concerts take place. Here you can also order a vintage photo shoot in the old interiors.
