The garden of the Fountain House will be occupied by an installation based on the poet's life in Leningrad in the 1960s-70s; authentic objects of the era will be side by side with video projections and accompanied by Brodsky's voice.

An exhibition dedicated to the times of Joseph Brodsky's youth is opening in the courtyard of the Fountain House. Material artifacts of the 1960s and 70s are accompanied by sound materials here.

The garden wall will become an exhibit of poetic archeology: the viewer will discern layers of time on it, prints of objects, the contours of a communal apartment. The visual part is inspired by the photographs of the "one and a half rooms" at 24 Liteiny, where the future Nobel laureate lived with his parents before leaving the country.

In the surroundings of the poet's dwelling, his voice will be heard: moving along the wall deep into the garden, the visitor will hear conversations, thoughts aloud, scraps of poems and interviews. The installation was conceived and implemented by director Yana Tumina and the creative manufactory PTH.
