HEPTADA

Kronstadt’s Italian Palace holds a combinatorial art exhibition centered around the graphic installation HEPTADA created in 1995 by St. Petersburg-based artist Mikhail A Krest.

Heptada is a system referring to Menorah, an ancient Judaism symbol. The title originates from the Greek numeral ‘seven’ considered mystical by many thinkers throughout centuries, including contemporary conspiracy theorists.

To help visitors better understand the combinatorial system, HEPTADA at the exhibition is accompanied by detailed commentaries, graphic animation, and a light installation.
