The East Pavilion of the Mikhailovsky Castle hosts an exhibition of children's printed graphics "Children and the Sea" based on the results of the Second International Biennale dedicated to the 315th anniversary of the founding of Kronstadt.
The theme of the 2019 Biennale is “Great Russian Geographical Discoveries,” which is especially symbolic in connection with the celebration in 2020 of the 200th anniversary of the discovery of Antarctica by Russian researchers F. Bellingshausen and M. Lazarev. Founder of the Second International Biennale - Children's Art School. M.K. Anikushina with the support of the Administration of the Kronstadt district of St. Petersburg.
The exhibition features more than 80 works by students of children's art schools and art schools from Basilicata (Italy), St. Petersburg, Kolpino, Kronstadt, Lomonosov, Peterhof, Astrakhan, Novosibirsk, Ryazan, Kazan, Smolensk.
