The exhibition “Tchaikovsky. Graphics"

Center for Art and Music Library of V.V. Mayakovsky invites you to visit the poster exhibition “Tchaikovsky. Graphics".
In 2017, within the framework of the I International Festival “Tchaikovsky.spb.ru”, the Internet competition “Tchaikovsky. Graphics" was held. It is surprising, but true: at the same time in Estonia in the city of Haapsalu, under the auspices of the Tchaikovsky Festival, the International Poster Competition of the same name was held. The organizers of the St. Petersburg festival decided to combine the best works of both competitions in one event.

The Estonian side provides posters of participants from Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Indonesia, Ecuador. Also to these posters will be attached posters of films and ballets by P. I. Tchaikovsky in different cities of Russia and countries of the world, created in the 20th century. Posters for the exhibition provided Denis Andreyevich Fon-Mec - a collector, a descendant of the Tchaikovsky family and the Fon-Mec family.
Such a retrospective will allow you to create an impression of how artists' views changed on the personality of Peter Ilyich and his works from the 20th century to the 21st century.
