Street photo exhibition "Reliable people"

In the period from September 24 to October 22, 2018 on Bolshaya Morskaya Street Lenenergo organizes a street photo exhibition "Reliable People".

The exposition will feature photos of industry experts. The aim of the exhibition is to introduce Petersburgers to the professions demanded in the process of modernization and development of the energy infrastructure of St. Petersburg, to position the city as one of the flagships of the country's electric power industry, and also to express respect to industry veterans.

The event is timed to a memorable day in the history of the Leningrad energy industry and the city: on September 23, 1942, electricity returned to besieged Leningrad. This became possible thanks to the heroic work of the specialists of Lenenergo, who laid the cable line of life, 22.5 kilometers long, along the bottom of Lake Ladoga. Electric underwater cables were laid in conditions of deadly risk, under enemy shelling, in a record short time - 48 days. There were no analogues of this project in history.
