14 poems of Nikolay Oleynikov – a remarkable poet from the OBERIU group, an editor of the legendary Hedgehog and Siskin magazines – have inspired a composer Valery Voronov to create a musical and vocal cycle.
These 14 little tragedies have become a very special musical performance on the edge between an epic drama and children's counting rhymes. This is a performance about insects in the human world and about humans living among insects, about being delighted with scientific knowledge and about being terrified towards it. This is a performance about vanity, beauty and ... the universe.
