MOZART. REQUIEM

The famous “Requiem” by V. A. Mozart performed by laureates of international competitions, choir and symphony orchestra will sound under the arches of an old church with excellent acoustics.

Enveloped in mystery, the grandiose creation of musical genius is one of the most famous and often performed in the world. "Requiem" completes the creative path of Mozart, being the last work of the composer. This alone forces one to perceive his music in a completely special way, as an epilogue of all life, an artistic testament.

The ensemble of soloists, numerous choir and symphony orchestra of the Youth Opera Theater under the baton of conductor Igor Novitsky will present a musical masterpiece in the walls of Jaani Kirik, which atmosphere and excellent acoustics completely immerse the audience in what is happening.

This is not the first large-scale project of the Youth Opera Theater: last year, the they've released the opera Aleko by S. V. Rakhmaninov directed by Vyacheslav Kalyuzhny and performed the oratorio by J. B. Pergolesi Stabat Mater.
