International Festival of Independent Video Art MUSTSEE 2021

The international festival of independent video art MUSTSEE 2021 will open in St. Petersburg on October 20. The unique installation, located on three floors of the Sevkabel Port space, was created by the Independent Art team. The exhibition brought together 21 authors from 15 countries, including Japan, China, USA, Italy, France, Belgium, Russia, Indonesia, Iran, Australia, etc.

The festival will show all the variety of video art: the experiments of the Frenchman Francois Vogel, who calls himself a scientist who invents video cameras, the true beauty of mutual love between the ocean and people from the winner and participant of many international exhibitions Natalie Karpushenko, digital reflections of our life from Gabriel Barcia-Colombo, laureate of New -York Foundation for the Arts and the Los Angeles Museum of Art, artwork by Japanese experimental animator and video artist Hirotoshi Iwasaki, Doctor of Fine Arts, University of Tokyo.

Additional events will be held within the framework of the exhibition: master classes, screenings of auteur films.
