The exhibition introduces the work of the painter and graphic artist Igor Churilov. The exhibition features a series of collages based on the poem "The House That Jack Built". Compositions of cut and torn paper were created in 1995 and became the first experience of Igor Churilov in the field of book graphics. The artist began to work in this technique, inspired by the example of decoupage by Henri Matisse. Another part of the exhibition will be made up of prints and watercolors created in recent years.

Igor Stanislavovich Churilov was born in Vladivostok in 1959. In 1978-1986 he studied at the Leningrad Higher School of Industrial Art named after V.I. V. I. Mukhina, where he studied painting under the guidance of L. V. Kutsenko. From 1981 to 1994 he participated in exhibitions of the group of artists "Mitki". Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1997, member of the International Association of Pastelists (ASPAS) since 2011. Since 1983 he has been teaching. The teacher of the highest category. Since 2004 - organizer and head of the informal creative association of young artists "Heritage". Participant of numerous personal and group exhibitions in Russia and abroad.

The artist's works are in the collections of the State Russian Museum, the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, the State Museum of Contemporary Art "Tsarskoye Selo Collection", the Central Exhibition Hall "Manezh" (St. I. N. Kramskoy, Mordovian Republican Museum of Fine Arts named after SD Erzya, Saratov State Art Museum. A. N. Radishchev, as well as in private collections in Russia, Germany, Israel, USA, France, Finland.
