Boris Kustodiev and Mstislav Dobuzhinsky. Compositions for City College House (1910-11)

Held within the celebration of Peter the Great’s 350-year jubilee, the exhibition features a number of lesser known works created in 1910-11 by the outstanding artists Boris Kustodiev and Mstislav Dobuzhinsky to decorate the interior of St. Petersburg’s City College House.

The works on display include a sketch the panel Peter the Great, the panel itself, and the drawing The Genius of Victory by Kustidiev; and sketches for the panel Peter the Great in Holland by Dobuzhunsky.
