Anatoly Zaslavsky - St. Petersburg painter, member of the Union of Artists of Russia, member of the International Federation of Artists (IFA), member of the art association "Eight. Staircase ”, full member of the Academy of Modern Art of St. Petersburg, organizer of the creative group“ Hopeless artists ”.

“Workshop in Persons” is a collection of portraits of creative people, poets, philosophers, writers, cultural and art workers, family members, colleagues and friends of Zaslavsky. The artist constantly addresses these characters, writes them in different environments - in the workshop, in the interior of their own houses, on the street. All these images are true, acutely characteristic, convey the essence of the nature of the modeled.

The exposition will include portraits that are most diverse in compositional solutions - single, group, genre. Zaslavsky’s portraits are interesting to look at; they read the life history of the model, the nature of its emotional and behavioral perception. They reveal the artist himself - his attitude to life, to time and his metamorphoses.

The exhibition, organized for the 80th anniversary of the artist and incorporating more than forty works, will reveal to the audience the richness and scale of Anatoly Zaslavsky’s creative capabilities.
