A multifunctional concert and sports complex located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland, next to the tallest building in St. Petersburg - the Lakhta Center, opened on February 9, 2018.

The concept and design of the hi-tech arena was created by architect V.P. Finkelstein. The auditorium has the appearance of an amphitheater, the roof of which is crowned by a large oval dome made of bent wooden beam. This dome design was chosen for the best acoustics of the hall. It allows classical musicians to play without sound, and the audience to hear the natural sound of instruments. Tinkoff Arena is one of the largest domed concert venues in Europe.

One feature of the Tinkoff Arena is telescopic stands with extendable rows of seats. This allows you to change the size of the central platform of the arena and the capacity of the auditorium. The number of seats varies from 1000 to 2500 people.

On the third floor of the arena around the perimeter are hand-drawn images of ancient warriors of different eras and peoples in armor, with shields and swords in full military uniform. In total, 29 historical monochrome figures with colored shields are depicted. The wall painting was made by a group of graduates of the I.E. Repin Academy.

In winter, an outdoor ice rink is poured next to the sports complex. It works daily from 12.00 to 21.00, one hour of skiing for adults costs 200 rubles, for children under 10 years - 100 rubles. You can rent skates here.
