An unusual playground, painted like chessboard and lined with huge metal figures, resembles the scenery for Alice in Wonderland. It was created in 2008 by artists of the 33 plus 1 monumental art studio.
In the chess courtyard you can see a table for Mad Tea Party and a caterpillar on the mushroom. Around the site are large toy cars.
In the windows of the house overlooking the courtyard, you can see stained glass windows on a chess theme - these are the windows of a chess club.
The iron gate to the courtyard is closed. To get inside, you need to call the intercom of the museum-apartment of N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov, and the gates will certainly open.
