The Mitki is an art-group, which was founded in the 80s and became one of the parts of Leningrad’s unofficial art. The Mitki’s works emphasize the beauty of everyday life. In the 90s The Mitki became a representation of Leningrad abroad. And even until the present day they are trying to show the world the breadth and depth of the Russian soul. The group exhibits their works in the art-center under the auspices of optimism, freedom and sincerity. Exhibitions are held in the flat, which makes visitors feel a real atmosphere of St. Petersburg’s underground.
