A new restaurant of Caucasian cuisine from the famous restaurateur Aram Mnatsakanov and chef Gia Huchua. The name of the institution refers to the mulberry tree, very revered in Georgian culture.
The cuisine combines the motifs of different peoples of the Caucasus: khachapuri and khinkali, phali and dolma, kharcho and chikhirtma, chicken of tobacco and chakapuli. In the wine list - mostly Georgian wines, but there are both European and Russian. This includes orange wines, which have become a fashion trend in Europe.
The interiors are made in the national style: curly greens, lamps, hats, antique boards in wall cladding, dishes decorated with ornaments, reproductions of still lifes by Konstantin Totibadze.
On weekdays from 08.30 to 12.00 and on weekends from 09.00 the restaurant serves breakfast, and not only Georgian: you can order a Benedict egg and a tuna sandwich.
From Wednesday to Sunday from 20.00 to 22.30 guests of the restaurant “Mama tuta” will be entertained and warmed by Georgian chants.
