In the heart of the city on Nevsky Prospekt and the embankment of the Moika River, on two floors, Literature Café is situated, which stores the traditions of St. Petersburg of old times. At the beginning of the XIX century, this place was the famous confectionery of S. Wolf and T. Beranger, which was visited by famous writers, poets, journalists. Pushkin used to be a guest here, it was from here he went to the fateful duel on the Black River.

The second floor of the cafe is made in the style of the best salons-restaurants of the XIX century appreciated by Russian aristocrats. The interior of the restaurant is done in the style of the literary salon of the 19th century – lots of curtains, huge book shelves, lamps with closed green shades, and in one of the corners of the hall there was a stuffed bear with "bread and salt" in its paws. On the menu you will find delicious dishes of Russian and French cuisine, which are prepared according to the old recipes of Pushkin's time.

In the evenings from 19.00 to 23.00 on the second floor of the restaurant piano, accordion, trumpet, double bass are playing for guests. More information on the repertoire can be found in the special section of the restaurant's website - "The Music Program".

The Literature cafe is a harmonious combination of Russian cuisine and Russian culture, modern level of service and traditions of St. Petersburg with its romance and unique atmosphere of antiquity.
