In the inconspicuous courtyard of the Kunstkammer, you can see statues of idols from South Colombia for free. These are copies made at the beginning of the 20th century in Germany from plaster casts made by the famous traveler Steppel during his journey through South America. Real stone idols up to five meters high, each created in the first millennium AD, stand in the San Augustine Valley in South Colombia and guard the underground tombs of Indian chiefs.

A number of urban legends are associated with idols. Here you can not lie, that's why young girls come here with their beloved to find out the truth about their feelings. In addition, local residents say that idols are endowed with strong magic and are capable of curing diseases.
