Authentic Italian pizzeria on Vasilyevsky Island, where pizza is baked in a real wood-burning oven.
The restaurant is named after the city of Castelsardo in the north of the island of Sardinia, in Italy. This is where maestro Dario Buskedda lives, who has a huge pizza maker experience, many international culinary awards and a place in the Guinness Book of Records for the world's largest pizza.
In the “Castelsardo” menu there are more than ten pizza options, mostly classic positions: “Margarita”, “Pepperoni” or “4 cheeses”, as well as Burratina pizza with fresh burrata and tomatoes.
Restaurant also serves pasta, light cream soups and classic Italian appetizers such as bruschetta with tomatoes, burrata, mozzarella, focaccia with pesto. Drinks include beer, cider, soft drinks, coffee and tea.
On weekends there are children's cooking classes in Castelsardo.
At the enterance to the pizzeria, there is a special shelf with the most delicious and fresh products that are used in the process of cooking: the juicy, fragrant tomatoes, freshly baked bread, other fresh vegetables and fruits. All this can be bought and taken home.
