Library of Daniil Granin

This creative space is located away from the tourist routes, in a new area on the right bank of the Neva, but it will be interesting for all lovers of books and cultural events.

In 2016, Daniil Granin agreed to assign his name to a new library being built in the Nevsky district. Outstanding Russian writer Daniil Alexandrovich took personal part in the fate of the library, there is even a mini-museum - the living room of Daniil Granin.

The library was opened on September 23, 2017. The housewarming was visited by the daughter of the writer Marina Danilovna Chernysheva-Granina, who donated Granin's personal belongings to the library.

The library space is more than 700 square meters. These are several interactive sites. The open, light-filled space harmoniously coexists with cozy book niches, which were designed for book lovers - true connoisseurs of the book and their time.

The library regularly hosts exhibitions, meetings with writers and other interesting events.
