In program
Accompanied by our guide, an expert in Petrine St. Petersburg, you will walk through Aleksandrovsky Garden, Admiralteyskaya naberezhnaya (Admiralty Quay), and in the area historically known as the “maritime village” to learn
- history of St. Petersburg as a maritime capital
- location of the city’s first port
- story behind the ‘irregular’ monument depicting Peter with an ax in his hands.
In the scale model museum Petrovskaya Akvatoria, you will see diminished replicas of Petrine ships; historic floods and fires images; and even a ball with men and ladies dancing.
Petrovskaya Akvatoria features – at a scale of 1:87 – around 25,000 characters, 1,000 buildings, and 1,000 vehicles and transports including ships.
Duration: 3 hours, or 2 hours if the museum excluded.
