Yulia Fomina. “Faces of Beauty”

Gallery “Moika 104” presents an exhibition of a young Moscow artist Yulia Fomina.

Yulia started her creative path in the art school “Details”. She underwent training in various creative workshops, looking for the style that best suits her inner world. The artist loves to travel. From each trip she returns filled with new impressions and ideas, which are immediately reflected in her art. Julia’s works are colorful, sometimes exotic, reminiscent of windows to another world. The key importance in them is given to the play of form and color.

“I have always been attracted to bright colors, exotic decorations of different countries. From numerous trips I bring interesting objects, fabrics with tropical patterns, national ornaments that embody the spirit of the people, jewelry with ritual meanings. Women’s folk costume is a cultural code to understanding the country!”

Julia is a regular participant of Russian and international exhibitions. Her works are in private collections in Russia, France and Italy.
