XXII International Festival Intermuseum 2020

Intermuseum is the only large-scale museum festival in the world, in which hundreds of Russian and foreign museums annually participate. For many years, the Intermuseum festival has served the purpose of professional development of museum work, forming an idea of the traditions, new trends, practices and technologies in the work of the modern museum. This year the festival is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and for the first time takes place in an online format.

The interactive museum exhibition on the site imuseum.ru presents collective and individual stands of museums, which tell about the work of museums to preserve and restore cultural heritage during the fighting and preserve the memory of the Great Patriotic War.

The Intermuseum 2020 festival is attended by many Petersburg museums, including the Russian Museum, the Hermitage, the State Museum of the History of Religion, the Russian Ethnographic Museum, the Museum and Exhibition Center ROSPHOTO, the Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, the Literary Museum "XX Century", the museum “St. Petersburg of various markets”, the memorial museum of A. V. Suvorov, the Museum and Exhibition Center “Russia is my history”, the Museum of Urban Sculpture, the Tsarskoye Selo and Peterhof museum preserves and others.
