Journalist Yulia Shalgaliyeva, together with the coordinator of the humanitarian project Fairy Tales for Political Prisoners Elena Efros, are launching the exhibition “The Creativity of Political Prisoners”. In the open space drawings of prisoners of the Russian regime, their poems, prose, fragments of letters will be presented.

The exhibition brings together the work of people of various political views - both activists and those who turned out to be inevitably drawn into the wheels of the repressive machine. These people were in prisons and colonies for various reasons, but all, one way or another, for political ones. At the exhibition you can familiarize yourself with the works of Oleg Sentsov and Roman Sushchenko, Oleg Navalny and Viktor Filinkov, Sergey Mokhnatkin, Boris Stomakhin and many other prisoners of conscience.

The scenery in which the exhibition is located was prepared by the “JAV” art group and the Archangel artist Anna Danilova.

Vernissage will take place on February 9 at 18 o'cklock. The opening of the exhibition will feature literary works of political prisoners - they will be broadcasted on video performed by both young and famous actors from St. Petersburg, Kirov, Arkhangelsk.
