TR/ST

TR / ST is a musical project formed in 2009 by Robert Alfons and Maya Postepsky (Austra). The gloomy synthpop with Robert's brooding voice sends back to the days of the 80s synthesizing revolution. However, with all the obvious hints about that time, Robert himself says that he never tried to compose retro songs, instead feeding his musical talent with only a sense of nostalgia in all her manifestations.

Trust released their first singles "Candy Walls" and "Bulbform" along with Sacred Bones Records in 2011, before they signed a contract with Arts & Crafts and on February 28, 2012 they released a full-fledged debut album "TRST". After several years of touring, having received high praise from leading international critics such as Pitchfork, VICE and The Guardian UK, the album Joyland followed.
