Retrospective exhibition by Peter Cornish "The Passage of Time"

ROSPHOTO together with the Hungarian Cultural Center presents a retrospective exhibition by Peter Cornish, one of the most significant authors in contemporary Hungarian photography.

The exhibition will feature works by Peter Cornish over the years, from photographs from the 1960s to a contemporary series on Transylvania women seeking work in Budapest. This form of labor migration has become widespread. Cleaning the house, caring for the elderly, or selling folk art guarantees income, which is mostly sent home to the family. Many women working in the Hungarian capital continue to wear traditional clothing.

The exhibition by Peter Cornish will tell about big and irreversible changes and show how people's lives have changed over the past fifty years.
