On June 26, the Museum of Contemporary Art ARTMUZA will open the exhibition "Pairing" by Alexey Zamytsky. The exhibition showcases Zamytsky's unique art of collage, in which he explores the power of destruction and creation by using fragments from the past to create something new and unique. As a master of porcelain painting, Zamytsky demonstrates that beauty is fragile and vulnerable. His works, made from the "ruins of thoughts and images," come to life through his multi-layered collage technique. Zamytsky skillfully combines various objects based on their shape, texture, color, and tone, resulting in artworks that combine colored spots, scraps of inscriptions, numbers, musical notes, and wallpaper ornamentation. The artist works in series, creating a playful interaction of meanings, images, and concepts. The artworks communicate with each other within a common exposition space, inviting viewers to engage in dialogue and creating a sense of moving forms and juxtaposed constellations. Zamytsky's collages demonstrate how destruction can lead to the birth of something new, as he creates whole lives from fragments of glass, phrases, pictures, threads, pearls, and photographs, inviting viewers to instantly connect with his art.
