Olympic Brass with the program “We are the Champions”

Masterly transcriptions of the songs of the legendary group Queen and Michael Jackson will be performed in the Chapel by the Olympic Brass brass ensemble. The program will include such hits as We Are The Champions, Show Must Go On, Black Or White, The Earth Song and many others.

Olympic Brass is unique in that the ensemble consists of brass performers - and these instruments are traditionally considered to be one of the most technically complex. Playing in such a collective implies the highest skill and responsibility of each musician. The level of professionalism of each performer was repeatedly confirmed by victories at All-Russian and international competitions.

Olympic Brass has existed for over ten years and successfully performs at various venues in St. Petersburg and other cities. World pop hits are just one facet of the ensemble repertoire. It includes many popular genres - from film music to classical jazz, from Latin to klezmer, from boss nova to funk.
