On November 3, in the legendary Hard Rock Café in St. Petersburg, an exclusive performance by a no less legendary Ken Hensley, a British multi-instrumentalist, primarily known as the man who wrote the main hits of the Uriah Heep band, will take place.
Hensley's innovative approach, paired with composer talent and performing skills, made him a cult figure in the world of heavy music. The name Ken Hensley forever go down in history of rock music of the XX century as the first real hitmaker of the classic British hard rock scene of the 70s. And most modern rock stars, including Metallica, Guns N `Roses and Red Hot Chili Peppers, call this man among the musicians who had the greatest influence on them. Thanks to Hensley, Uriah Heep gained its unique sound and stellar status, and his songs “Easy Livin”, “Lady In Black” and “July Morning” turned into business cards of their era.
The concert will feature both main hits of the Uriah Heep, and compositions from Hensley's solo works.
After the concert an autograph session will be organized.
