The tenth anniversary Icebreaker Festival will be held from May 30 to June 2 and will be dedicated to the City Day - the day of St. Petersburg's foundation. The bright maritime festival was first held in 2014 - in the year of the 150th anniversary of the Russian icebreaker fleet and since then it has been among the top events opening the summer tourist season.

The famous icebreakers “Captain Sorokin”, “Vladivostok” and “Captain Zarubin” will moor at the quay wall of the Leitenant Schmidt embankment. During four festive days everyone will be able to board these legendary ships free of charge.

Thematic exhibitions and master classes will be organized for the guests of the festival. The culmination of the festival is a waltz of tugboats in the Neva water area!
