Exhibition
Marking the 150-year jubilee of Konstantin Bogayevsky (1872-1943), one of the most prominent Russian Silver Age artists, the exhibition features around 50 paintings, drawings, watercolors, and lithographs from the collection of the State Russian Museum and KGallery.
Many of the displayed works portray the Crimea, the artist’s homeland.
It is the first ever solo Bogayevsky exhibition in the Russian Museum. Many of his works were either ruined during the past revolutions and wars or taken abroad.
