The exhibition, which brings together materials from the collection of the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, tells about Alexander Blok's interest in botany, the "alphabet" of which he learned from early childhood, thanks to his grandfather A. N. Beketov.
Love and deep knowledge of the world of flora were reflected not only in the poetry of Blok, but also in his mother, A. A. Kublitskaya-Piottukh, aunt E. A. Beketova, in the drawings of his cousin A. A. Kublitsky-Piottukh.
The exhibition features photographs, documents, letters, prints and household items of the early 20th century depicting a variety of plants.
