The Museum of Art of St. Petersburg of the XX-XXI centuries invites to the posthumous exhibition of the St. Petersburg painter Valerik Apinyan, a bright and multifaceted artist, who left in June 2019. He worked in different genres: still life, landscape, portrait, nude, plot compositions. But with all the variety of interests of the author, there is no doubt one thing - at the head of his artistic aspirations is a worship of beauty. The exhibition "Flowers and Women" not only conveys admiration for nature, embodied in bouquets and beautiful ladies, but also reveals the characteristic features of the creative personality of the master.
The works of Valerik Apinyan are stored in the collections of the Museum of Art of St. Petersburg of the XX-XXI centuries, the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg), the State Art Gallery of Armenia, the Museum of Modern Art (Yerevan, Armenia), in private collections in Russia and abroad.
The exhibition will feature more than 30 paintings by the author.
