On February 23, the best Russian athletes and foreign riders will demonstrate their skills in jibbing - one of the most spectacular snowboarding disciplines. Petersburgers and guests of the city will be able to enjoy the competitions without leaving the historical center of the Northern capital. In the specially created unique competition area on Konyushennaya Square, imitating the urban environment, the leading Russian snowboarders will gather, as well as world stars of winter extreme sports. Athletes will show the class in performing ultra-complex spectacular stunts.

“Stairs and Rails is one of the biggest events in the extreme sports industry in Russia, and jibbing, in which our participants will compete, is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular disciplines in snowboarding. We have gathered the best athletes from Russia, invited guests from Europe to show the guests of the event a cool extreme show, ”says Dmitry Hilimonchik, the head of the Stairs & Rails project.

All participants will be divided into four groups, each of which will be given 30 minutes to determine the three strongest athletes. The twelve riders will meet in the finals, where the best of the best will be determined. As part of the Stairs and Rails festival, the Toyota Best Trick competition will be held. The competitions will be broadcast on the most popular Russian thematic resources, and a big screen will be installed on the festival site, where viewers can enjoy replays of the best moments.
