At the exhibition of the Belarusian artist Pavel Bulva you will see a religious and philosophical reflection on the vices of society in the era of mass consumption and archetypes, existential loneliness and immortality. The works are accompanied by the creator's manifesto.

In the era of universal hedonism, the cult of material saturation, and cliches of perception, the author calls on the viewer to sincerity and disinterestedness, and artists to creative communication, acceptance of responsibility and humanization of their art. The exhibition will feature 69 graphic and painting works created in the period 2009-2018.

The problems of the works in the exposition can be conditionally divided into three main categories: drawings as a religious and philosophical reflection on the theme of existential loneliness and alienation, eternity, the concept of the immortality of the human soul within the framework of eschatological philosophy; partly - a series of works on the theme of loneliness, insecurity, despair, death, ecstasy, expectation, fear, indecision, fear and sexuality; a series of drawings reflecting the artistic search for a symbolic interpretation of Christian themes and motives.

Bulva Pavel Vladimirovich was born in 1991, lives and works in Minsk. Graduated from the A.K. Glebov Art School in 2011. Since 2009 he has been working as a painting teacher. The works were published in print and online publications under the pseudonyms Control Terminus and Momordica Charantia. Participant of the "Alternative" project at the National Center for Contemporary Arts, Minsk, Belarus, 2021.
