The first exhibition in Russia of the British photographer Nick Veasey, who creates his works using X-ray technology, opens at the Erarta Museum. That is why the author's work is often called "art with elements of forensic medical examination."

The X-Ray Men project removes objects, ideas, technologies and people from artificial layers generated by our perception. “Radiography is a very honest thing: it shows things as they are,” explains Veasey. - Thanks to X-rays, you can see the internal structure of objects and living beings, evaluate their perfection ... "

The photographer's works have been exhibited in large-scale exhibitions around the world. The close attention from the museums provided the author with international recognition, as a result of which he was commissioned to produce the largest X-ray image in the world. A life-size image of a Boeing 777 aircraft adorns the hangar at Boston Logan Airport. Visitors to Erarta will see this photograph and forty other unusual works of the author at the exhibition “Nick Veasey. X-Ray Men ". Viewers will also have the opportunity to visit a kind of underwater laboratory - an immersive space created by Nick Veasey in cooperation with the Erarta Museum. Getting here, you can not only penetrate into the artistic world of the author, but also plunge into the deepest part of the World Ocean.

Nick Veasey's inimitable creative method has also been used in special projects commissioned by Nike, Porsche, IBM, Bloomberg and the European editorial office of Time magazine. Television programs on the BBC, NBC and Discovery Channel have also been devoted to the photographer's work.
