The famous couple of sculptors, Marina Spivak and Alexander Pozin, will open their large joint exhibition at the Artmuza Museum of Contemporary Art. The exposition is a powerful gesture of art history: to show from the other side the living classics of "Leningrad-Petersburg" art and draw the attention of Petersburgers to a landmark, but little-known place where the most daring artistic initiatives have been born and implemented for more than a century - the Village of Artists.

Marina Lvovna Spivak and Alexander Vladislavovich Pozin are a pair of sculptors, the embodiment of a family of St. Petersburg intellectuals. For more than half a century they have been living, working and exhibiting together. In their two workshops in the Village of Artists, they have created literally countless artifacts that are not limited to genre or technique: they create sculpture, installations, art objects, artistic textiles. Their works are united rather by an idea, an atmosphere. The fact is that the entire endless creative process takes place in a special place: in the Village of Artists, and it is these sculptors who today are an important part of the cultural community, uniting on the terrace of their house - "museum", hidden from prying eyes by stained glass windows, or in the garden near the fountain created by the hands of sculptors.

An important ideological part of the exhibition is to draw the attention of residents and guests of St. Petersburg to the existence of such an amazing place as the "Village of Artists". At the beginning of the 20th century, in the suburbs of Ozerka-Shuvalovo-Kolomyagi, a cultural community began to take shape, marked by such names as, for example, A. Blok, F. Shalyapin, A. Glazunov, K. Petrov-Vodkin. In the 80s, enthusiastic dreamers created here an independent non-profit association "The Village of Artists", here the craziest ideas and art initiatives were born and implemented. Master classes, street exhibitions, the legendary Rafts project: all this is already an integral part of art history. Unfortunately, today the "Village of Artists" does not receive the support of the city, the new generation does not strive for village life; and people who are not associated with the arts are often not even aware of the existence of such a significant place.

Artists will bring to the very center of St. Petersburg a "breath" of fresh, country air - their most personal and sincere, their art. Within the framework of the exhibition "Such a feeling is growing!" Marina Lvovna will present one of the most personal series - "Sewn Things", which has not been exhibited before. Textile "collages", created in recent years in a difficult period during the illness of the mother, seem to tell the story of a family. Philosopher, utopian Alexander Pozin will present to the audience works of different years and different moods, including one of the most famous - "Luft-Pozin", a certain object that tries to fly away, but something prevents him.
