MAXIMally Gorky

Marking the 155^th anniversary of the prominent Russian novelist, playwright and essayist Maxim Gorky, the exhibition mostly reflects social and political aspects of his activities, with a special focus on his relations with Lenin and Stalin.

In addition to archival materials courtesy of the St. Petersburg State Literature and Art archive, the exhibition features rare Gorky photos presented by the Russian Literature Institute.
