Gelia Pisareva. The Space of Traveling

Works by the St. Petersburg-based artist and sculptor Gelia Pisareva are inspired by both Russian ancient folk arts and the edgy trends from the 1920s Soviet avant-garde.

Pisareva is also a member in an artistic union whose participants live and work in neglected suburban Art Nouveau wooden houses, thus preventing the property from demolition.
