From August 11 to September 30, 2021, St. Petersburg will host the III public art festival Yards of the Capella. Traditionally, the courtyards of the State Academic Capella are transformed into an open-air exhibition space. The classical architectural environment will house objects and installations by contemporary authors. The theme of the festival is "Technology of Art".
The festival will open on August 11 at 4 pm in the Capella Concert Hall. The audience will see Marina Mirova's fashion collection "SIMPLY NOT SIMPLE", a performance by the VivaMuse Capella ensemble and a demonstration of the art objects themselves.
On this day, the central event of the festival will also take place - a round table on the topic "Technologies of Art". The panelists will discuss topical issues of interaction and interweaving of art and modern technologies. During the festival, a series of educational projects will take place: public talk, lectures and master classes. Professional artists and designers are invited to participate, who will talk about the intricacies of creating a work of art and existing technologies, what is needed to bring a fashion collection to life and organize a show, how to create a book with illustrative content, as well as the topic of networking in art.
