Shooting and painting as a creative exercise: an artist from Belarus, who represented the country at Dubai Expo 2020, will exhibit geometric paintings and photography at the Artmuz Museum. Manual labor during production eliminates digital finishing, and instead of a canvas, a person acts.

The exhibition with the telling title, Creativity, includes art photography and painting, united by creative energy and pure color. The main theme of Daria Yeremeyeva's photos is a person who acts as a blank canvas for creating unusual concepts. All the shots are imbued with the bright minimalism of abstract art trends: a special love for suprematism, cubism and clear forms was instilled in the artist by the air of her native city of Vitebsk (Belarus), whose heritage is rich in serious artistic names (Marc Chagall, Kazimir Malevich, etc.). The author easily composes geometric compositions and considers this ability to be an innate skill that she does not want and cannot resist.

Noteworthy is Daria's creative approach: it eliminates post-processing finishing by manually creating all the elements of the image that the viewer will see. Make-up, costumes, accessories are man-made, and the artist acts not only as a portraitist, but also as a designer and decorator. So, her artistic style can easily be considered from oil paintings — all the same manner of performance, composition, color combinations. At the exhibition, painting and photography complement each other and become a single whole.

Daria Yeremeyeva is a professional photographer and artist who has won dozens of prestigious international awards over the past decade, including becoming the Best Professional Photographer in Europe 2020 (FEP Association Photo Contest) and becoming the first winner in the history of the contest from Eastern Europe. In 2020, Daria was chosen to represent the art zone of the Republic of Belarus in the National Pavilion at the World Exhibition EXPO Dubai 2020, with a solo exhibition of art photography dedicated to the culture, heritage and traditions of Belarus.
